Inspired by her passion for crafting small-batch confections, Kristy’s journey began during the pandemic when widespread restaurant closures left her searching for a new way to channel her creativity. She turned her kitchen hobby into a thriving business, first with pop-ups in 2020, then with the launch of her first storefront in 2021. Building on that success, The Nutmeg Sweet Shoppe offers a fresh twist on the classic candy store experience, featuring everything from artisanal chocolates to “crazy milkshakes” and boba tea.
